Parking a scooter in Montreux and on the Riviera
Before choosing a stop, check that your scooter may park there. A space shown on a car-parking map does not establish permission for a motorcycle.

Start with your destination
Locate the entrance you want to reach, then look for permitted parking nearby. Montreux municipality links to Cartoriviera for roads, parking, works and diversions. Check this information before leaving and the signs on arrival: a map does not reserve a space.
Montreux station: an important distinction
MOB's operator FAQ states that motorcycles and bicycles are not allowed in the Gare Montreux car park. This rule concerns that car park; it does not describe every outdoor space nearby. If you would like handover near the station, agree the exact meeting point with ID Location.
Vevey, Chillon or Lavaux: check each stop
Do not transfer one car park's rules to another. Check the vehicle category, time limit, opening hours, possible payment and temporary restrictions. Chillon says parking is limited and recommends public transport. A walking or cycling route does not authorize motor-scooter access.
Keep a return plan
Allow time to find appropriate parking and walk to your destination. Note where you left the vehicle and the agreed return time. If access changes, adapt the visit or contact the team; a rental request includes no guaranteed parking or priority access.
